HockeyMockDraft.com ("the Site") is operated by Jeni Sports Media Inc. ("we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our 2026 NHL Mock Draft Simulator.

We collect minimal personal data. No account or login is required to use the free version of the Site.

Draft Data: Your mock draft picks, settings, and preferences are stored locally on your device using localStorage. We do not store your drafts on our servers.
Email (optional): If you subscribe to Draft Night Alerts, we collect your email address via Buttondown.
Payment Data: PRO subscriptions are processed through Stripe. We never see or store your credit card number.

3. How We Use Your Information

To provide and improve the mock draft simulator experience.
To send Draft Night Alert emails if you opted in.
To process PRO subscription payments via Stripe.
To analyze usage patterns and improve the product (via Google Analytics).
To display relevant advertising to free-tier users (via Google AdSense).

4. PRO Subscriptions & Stripe

Payments are processed by Stripe. When you subscribe to PRO ($4.99/month or $39.99/year), Stripe handles all payment processing. We receive a token confirming your subscription status but never see your full card number. You can cancel anytime through Stripe's customer portal.

5. Cookies & Local Storage

We use the following technologies:

Essential cookies: PRO subscription status verification.
Analytics cookies: Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how people use the Site.
Advertising cookies: Google AdSense for free-tier users. PRO subscribers do not see ads and these cookies are not set.
localStorage: Draft history, user preferences, GM career data, and app settings. This data stays on your device.
